Why do Russian people drink vodka?

There are a lot of reasons, why Russian people drink vodka. Here are some of them:

.) To warm themselves in winter;

.) To reduce stress and to put themselves in good spirits;

.) To celebrate a happy event;

.) During national holidays;

.)During negotiations to create a comfortable and trustworthy atmosphere;

.) After funerals to pray for for the deceased;

.)To be reconciled with somebody;

.) To spend the time. When a few Russian men gather together, they always take a bottle of vodka. Without it they feel uncomfortable;

.) To reduce pain, as an anaesthetic. If they do not want to take medicine.
