Flower traditions in Russia
There are some traditons in Russia that are connected with flowers.If you are going to send flowers to your Russian woman, this tips will be useful for you.
Of course, all women like flowers. The most favourite colours for them are red, scarlet and pink. Monochrome bouquet is the classics but mixed coloured one also looks great. Be careful with yellow – many people still think of it as a colour of parting.
Pink and its pastel hues are good for young girls. Claret-coloured and deep red
flowers are better for ladies who has a bit more experience in life. Of course, the most popular flower is rose but lilies, gerberas, chrysanthemums, alstromerias is a perfect choice, too.
If you are not sure that your lady like carnations, it’s better not to give them on
such a holiday like Saint Valentine’s day, as in Russia they are associated with another holiday – the Victory Day which is on the 9-th of May. Of course, this fact doesn’t matter if carnations are favourite flowers of a recipient.
